Stuff To Do – August
Monday, August 10th, 2009July was a lot more productive than I would have thought. Here’s what’s stirring for August:
Deferred from last month:
- Work on second mosaic (deferred).
- Continue query-letter process (sixteen letters out, seven rejections so far, one query returned and resent)
- Get everything synched with garage-door openers for both cars (deferred).
- Schlep to IKEA for furniture for family room (bookcases and media center and suchlike) (accomplished – going with the Crate and Barrel stuff, though).
- Get will paperwork finalized (scheduled).
- Get the home theater people to finally fix the channel-changing delay (FAIL, will try again next month).
New for this month:
- Schlep to Toyota dealer to put satellite radio in new van (scheduled).
- Figure out how to stuff two five-month-olds in an MD-80 for three hours without a meltdown – twice (FAIL on outbound flight, accomplished on inbound flight).
- Schedule time for builder to fix nail pops and suchlike (accomplished).
- Actually go through house and identify (with post-it notes) every place we need the builder to fix nail pops (accomplished.
- Get a haircut (accomplished).
- Apply fertilizer to backyard trees (accomplished).
- Pick up GWB and RR photos and documents from Michael’s when they’re ready (accomplished) and then hang them up on the wall of the office (accomplished).
- Get dress shirts and sport coats to and from dry cleaners (accomplished).
- Get sweet corn from little farmstand (accomplished).
- Get oil changed on car (accomplished).
