This is the internet site of Curtis Edmonds, writer, critic, and all-around benefactor of humanity.
I am the author of two books. WREATHED is a contemporary romance about love, death, and the perfect beach house. WREATHED will be published in November 2014, and is available for pre-order, so, you know, do that. RAIN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY was published in 2013 and is a modern Southern Gothic novel about Will Morse, a former Coca-Cola executive living alone in a small cabin in the Appalachian foothills of North Georgia. Will’s world is turned upside down when his only surviving daughter invites him to her wedding. Will finds the strength to comfort his daughter in a crisis, discovers an unlikely romance, and experiences a painful betrayal. At the wedding, he is faced with a fateful decision, and must choose whether to embrace forgiveness, healing, and love. RAIN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY is available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, and other fine retail establishments.
I also published a short novella, World War B, which I co-authored with Ryan Garcia, and which imagines a world without bacon. I am the Founder and CEO of Scary Hippopotamus Books, and in that role, re-published my grandfather’s 1961 book, DESIGN FOR HAPPINESS, about the psychological interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount.
Anyway, I write short fiction (mostly for McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, but some other places, too), and book reviews, and the occasional rant. If you’d like an electronic copy of any of my books for your book blog or review site, feel free to drop me a line at curtisedmonds (at) gmail (dot) com.
